Zero-knowledge password manager

Your passwords. Only yours.

Lockvero encrypts every password, PIN and note on your device before it is saved. Our servers only ever see ciphertext — so a breach, a rogue employee or a court order cannot expose your vault.

Why Lockvero

Built so we never hold your secrets

Encrypted on your device

Your master password never leaves your device. Encryption keys are derived locally with Argon2id and data is sealed with AES-256-GCM.

We cannot read your vault

Names, URLs, usernames, passwords and PINs are all encrypted. Even our own database cannot tell what you store.

Organised in projects

Group the logins of a website, a client or an app — URL, email, password and PIN together, searchable instantly.

Passkeys & two-factor

Lock your account with Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, a security key or an authenticator app.

Share without trusting us

Share a project with family or colleagues. Keys are exchanged with public-key cryptography; we never see them.

Password health

Find weak, reused and breached passwords — checked privately on your device.

How it works

Zero-knowledge, in three steps

You choose a master password

Only you know it. Lockvero turns it into encryption keys on your device using Argon2id, a deliberately slow algorithm that makes guessing expensive.

Your vault is encrypted locally

Every item is sealed with AES-256-GCM before it leaves your browser. What reaches our servers is unreadable ciphertext.

Only your devices can open it

When you sign in elsewhere, the same keys are re-derived on that device. We store nothing that can decrypt your data.

Security you can verify

We publish exactly how Lockvero protects your data — the algorithms, the key hierarchy and what we can and cannot see. No buzzwords, no “military-grade” claims.

Master password stretched with 64 MiB Argon2id; separate keys for authentication and encryption; every item sealed with a fresh 96-bit nonce and bound to its place in your vault.

Frequently asked questions

What does “zero-knowledge” mean?

Your vault is encrypted on your device with a key derived from your master password before anything is sent to us. Our servers only ever store ciphertext, so we cannot read your passwords — and neither can anyone who breaks into our servers.

What happens if I forget my master password?

Because we never know it, we cannot reset it for you. When you sign up, Lockvero gives you a recovery key: keep it somewhere safe and offline, and you can use it to set a new master password without losing anything.

Is Lockvero free?

Yes. The Free plan stores up to 50 logins in 5 projects, with the same encryption as every paid plan, and never asks for a card. Paid plans add more storage, secure sharing and family seats.

Can I import passwords from my browser or another password manager?

Yes. Lockvero imports CSV exports from Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox, Bitwarden, LastPass and 1Password. The file is read and encrypted in your browser; only ciphertext reaches our servers.

Does Lockvero support passkeys and two-factor authentication?

Yes. You can protect your account with an authenticator app (TOTP) and with passkeys such as Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a hardware security key.

How do I share a password safely?

Put it in a project and share the project. Each person receives the project key encrypted to their own public key, with editor or viewer rights. Removing someone rotates the key so they cannot read anything new.

Is there a browser extension?

Yes — a Lockvero extension for Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave) fills your logins only when you click, and only on the site they belong to. Store listings are coming soon.
